It is past midnight. I can hear the clock ticking, and the computer humming; together creating the hum-tick song of my room. I can hear my heart beating and the faint television voices that make up the backup vocals. There is no chorus. That died a while ago. It is a dreaded verse with a compressed bridge, and it is a terrible melody. A dead song, but I want to make it last forever. In a room of empty souls where the ghosts will not even haunt me, these are the things I have for company.

If things do not go so well more than you remember, do not have a sad grim on your face or hide under a shell forever. There will be times that will upset you and you have to try to work yourself through. Always try to seek help to solve the problem from a different view.

You need something to hope for, as hope is essential to problems and ensuring resilience. Hope keeps us going and gives us something to live for. When you feel like hope is fleeting, things don’t always go the way they seem. Whether it’s the resistance of life itself or your goals, seem further than what you would like them to be.
If you don’t know where you’re going, draw your map. Plan the surrounding route. Draw all the obstacles and setbacks. You’re preparing yourself for the rumbling when you get there. Managing and measuring progress can go a long way to keeping that fire lit while motivating you along the way.
Today marks the 2,500th sale of The Space Time Filled: Volume 1! 1 year and 3 months ago I released this and my goal was to sell 15 copies! So, here we are.
Here’s to Volume 2, may you at least sell 30 copies!
Avoiding painful emotions in your life seems like the right thing to do, but it never is. The key to healing the mind is to experience emotions. When we dance with our emotions, we operate better.
“You do not need to fake a smile for anybody. You do not need to dance because you feel like others are demanding to be around cheerful people. If you are sad, you are sad. Our world falls apart from time to time, and that is okay.”
